A snowboard variant used in alpine snowboarding. A narrow snowboard, with one upturned front tip and a tail, appearing similar to an extremely wide ski. Unlike a normal snowboard, both bindings on alpine boards are angled to mount boots angling forward, and have bindings similar to ski bindings, to mount snowboard boots similar to ski boots; although the binding mounting locations are similar to regular snowboards.
