In the early years after the development of plane kymography, Stumpf (1931) had already stressed the optical reproducibility of moving processes and described a kymoscope which is still manufactured today.

One’s guilt may trouble one, but it is best not to let oneself be troubled by things which cannot be changed.  One shouldn’t be too quick to judge.
