BR success in establishing this new "Company" train service follows a year's operation of a conveyor-belt traffic in car parts between the Ford plant at Dagenham and the firm's recently-opened £30m Merseyside factory at Halewood, where Ford Corsairs, Capris and Anglias are manufactured.
