The 13-mile section from Tring to Watford, on which work is further ahead than elsewhere south of Rugby, is likely to be energised for crew training in advance of the Rugby-Euston extension; a Crewe-Liverpool multiple-unit set is already at Stonebridge Park depot ready for use on this work.
