Are we entitled, therefore, to force this on the Catholic youth of Ireland, with or without its Berkeleio-Humeian developments, or its farther mystification of German verbiage; or shall we cut it out, and substitute for Locke, and Butler, and Hallam, and Macaulay, “Catholic” History, Metaphysics, and Sociology?
