The text of to-night's communique says:- …Heavy fighting is continuing in the East Chekiang province with the Japanese launching vigorous attacks at Kienteh and Yiwu to the north-east of Kinhawa, the provincial capital. The Japanese troops on the Railway first attacked the Chinese positions in the vicinity of Yiwu in mass formation and then split up into several small units and attempted infiltration tactics.
