In addition, the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII) scanned its list of shadow stocks—smallish companies with relatively low coverage by financial analysts—for those with price-earnings ratios of less than 20 and an annual growth rate in earnings per share during the past five years of more than 20%. From the shadow stocks meeting these criteria, we chose several other companies to profile.

The term ephebophilia seems to have been coined by Magnus Hirschfeld in his Wesen der Liebe (1906), where he applied to sexually mature youths from puberty up to the age of 20; in his 1914 magnum opus, Die Homosexualitat des Mannes und des Weibes, Hirschfeld specified the range of love objects as from the beginning to the completion of maturity, so approximately ages 14-21. Tatar commercial penetration into new regions of Central and Eastern Asia very often preceded Russian political expansion.
