The concept of de-extinction is fascinating in much the same way that the dinosaurs of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World are.
The typical candidate for a makeunder is a woman who applies her makeup with too liberal a hand, styles her hair in a distracting or unattractive manner, or wears clothes that could be described as unflattering or over the top. The ideal candidate for a makeunder does all three of these simultaneously, mostly likely while upending a bottle of perfume into her cleavage.
This hypothesis might be supported by the evidence that there are varieties of pathogenic fungi of which parasitism is in varying degrees, between obligate parasitic and facultative parasitic. The facultative parasite, which usually lives as a saprophyte but under some conditions can parasitize on a plant, seems to be a pathogen with the lowest parasitic adaption.
