(Japanese mythology, collective) the Three Imperial Regalia of Japan (three treasures of the imperial family, bestowed by 天照 (Amaterasu) upon her grandson 瓊瓊杵 (Ninigi) before he descended to the mortal realm, including the bead 八尺瓊勾玉 (Yasakani no Magatama), the sword 草薙剣 (Kusanagi no Tsurugi) and the mirror 八咫鏡 (Yata no Kagami))
